28 Days Of Summer - Day 14

Belvior rasberry lemonade

Price -£2.15
I first tried it in Pizza Express and I have seen it in other restruants too, you can also order it online. I love this drink, it reminds me of summer and is perfect with some ice. I like lemonade but am not a huge fan about strawberry lemonade, however after being convinced to try it by my cousin, I fell in love with it!! It's my ideal drink and I love the packaging in it. Admittedly it is a little bit pricey, but I really enjoy this drink!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 13

Blue and white striped crop tee - Republic

Price - £8 (on sale, normally £10)
I loooooooove this blue. It's a mint colour and recently I have been obsessed with that colour so when I saw this top I had to get it. This is a great casual crop top and I think it looks really nice with my shorts, especially with the contrast of stripes. I also love the neck and cap sleeve on it. When trying on the plain crop tops in Topshop I didn't like the neck of it and thought it hanged a bit too loosely, whereas this is the perfect fit and length for my body. I'm very pleased with this item and am going to go back to republic to purchase some more crop tops!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 12

Burgundy satchel purse - Primark

Price - £3
Total bargain! This looks so vintage and it's just the cutest. I'll admit, it's not practical if you're someone who likes to carry a lot around with them, but for me, just going round to a friend's house or shopping, my purse or inhaler fits perfectly. I like the stitching around the edges and the gold buckle, and it looks great with my chiffon blouse and jeans.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 11

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner

Price - £3.89 each at Boots
These are my go-to shampoo and conditioners because they never disappoint me. My hair is always left in such good condition- soft and shiny. Some hydration hair products are a bit too heavy and can leave my hair looking a bit greasy but this definitely hydrates my hair and keeps it looking healthy and clean. The only let down is that it doesn't have much of a scent, it's more just a faint floral smell. However, that is my only fault and these are still my favourites!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 10

UBlack crotchet shoulder bag - Newlook

Price - £8.99
This is a good, solid, take everywhere with you bag! It fits everything in and is a smaller size so can be evening or day. It's winter or summer, the white details make it more summery. I just love this bag      in general and it fits all my needs for a small shoulder bag as it can fit a purse, phone, make-up... pretty much all the essentials needed.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 9

Red bird pattern dress - Primark

Price - £13
This dress has the most gorgeous colours, but what really drew me to this is the amazing back. Its hard to see in the picture but its got a hole in the pack where two bits of fabric overlap. I just think it looks so pretty on and the fabric is so nice and perfect for summer. This IS my ideal summer dress it comes in at the waste and shows off my back which I think is a really nice detail especially for the price.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 8

Blue Foulard Jenny dress - Cotton On

Price - $29.95
I got this when I was in America but it's now on sale on their website for $17.97. The extra fabric over the chest makes you appear bustier and the dress is gathered with elastic just below the chest, giving the illusion of a smaller waist. Blue is a great colour for me and I love the white print as I don't own anything else like this. This is a casual dress and I like to wear it with some converse and my brown belt that came with my skort. It also looks really cute to do your hair in a side braid when wearing this!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 7

Navy Folk Elephant Border Button Front Mini Skirt - NewLook

Price - £12.99
This skirt is an absolute steal! It's a lovely light chiffon fabric but it falls beautifully into a skater skirt. It has buttons along the front which adds a really nice detail to it. But most of all I love this print. Although, wintery colours I think it still looks nice with whites and other light colours (such as the yellow top I am wearing in the picture at the top). It's such a nice pattern and I love colours together. I think the way that it falls when you are wearing it really flatters any figure and I would recommend buying this, especially for the price as I would pay much more for a skirt of this quality!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 6

Navy floral print skort with belt - New Look

Price - £9.99
These pair of shorts look like a skirt but you can wear them on a windy day and not risk your dignity! Brilliant! I like my floral patterns in the summer and the pretty print on these are quite different from the style I would usually go for. It goes really nicely with a pastel tank top and the belt that comes with it gives it a bit more style.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 5

Yellow chiffon lace blouse - Primark

Price - £8
This top sums up summer. Its lovely pale lemon colour complements a tan perfectly. With the lace detail it can be dressed up with heels and black high waisted shorts/skirt or dressed down with just a pair of jeans some trainers, its so versatile! The blouse is such a bargin too, they also sold it in a lovely pale pink colour but I thought the yellow was a little bit different as I have a lot of pink in my wardrobe. If you are like me and love girly clothes then you will love this, it's so pretty and appears much more expensive then it its, a definite must have this summer!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 4

Floral chiffon button-back cami - New Look

Price - £14.99
I'm usually not a great fan of chiffon but this blouse has changed me! The colours are great as they will go with the majority of jeans and it's easy to dress up or dress down with accessories. I love the ditsy print and the chiffon material is very light, so is good for the heat. I like how the button detailing is down the back as it just adds a nice touch to it, although they can be annoying when leaning back on a chair! I like to wear this best with some light wash jeans.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 3

Black high-waisted shorts - New Look

 Price - £14.99
These shorts are definitely one of my favourites! The high waist gives the illusion of longer legs which is really great for me because my legs aren't the longest! They're not too short which is nice because I feel really self-conscious with hot pants and as they're black, they'll go with practically with anything! I like the folds at the bottom and the detail on the buttons- really stylish!

28 Days Of Summer - Day 20

Barry M nail paint - SuperDrug

Price - £2.99
This is my favourite nail varnish ever! I'll be really sad when this runs out! It's coral (colour 296) which goes really well with my American Eagle t-shirt and can brighten up any outfit. Like all Barry M nail paints, this usually needs 1-3 coats which is a pain when you're against the clock, not forgetting a top and base coat but I can't resist this. In my opinion, it's a must.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 2

MOTO Pink Stripe Hotpants - Topshop

Price - £28

I ADORE these! They are just so cute and perfect for summer. I am so into pastels at the moment so as soon as I saw these shorts I knew I had to get them. You can pair them with just a plain top and be ready to go for a easy summer look. The detailing on these shorts are so nice, I love the rolled up ends and the pockets at the back, all the buttons and studs are faded gold which gives it a really nice finish. These shorts are also really comfortable and are the perfect length to wear as I find some of Topshops shorts are too short.

28 Days Of Summer - Day 1

Paradise Graphic Tee - American Eagle Outfitters

Price - £16.01

I bought this in America for about $20 I think, but it's been reduced in GBP on their website. When I saw this in the store I knew I had to have it! I know it's not the most summery of colours but I adore the pineapple print and the coral/orange writing. It looks great paired with my black high-waisted shorts and coral nail varnish. I also like the rolled sleeves as they just add a nice look to the outfit and the length is good as well- not too long and can be tucked into to your jeans without getting a roll of fabric.

Rimmel Wake me up foundation review!

Price: £8.99

Okay, so I gave into the massive hype surrounding this product and decided to purchase it, needless to say I now know why people love it! Rimmels wake me up foundation is my new summer staple. I have normal/oily skin and although this product isn't ideal if you have oily skin, if you pair it with a good primer (I use Rimmels fix and perfect pro primer) it will still look flawless!
The foundation is medium coverage -although you can build it up to almost full. I find it makes my skin look so radiant and fresh. Its perfect just to put on in summer with a bright lip and you are ready to go!
I would recommend this too all skin types, however it can cause issues with oily skin if you don't have a primer that mattifies your skin as it will end up making your skin look greasy and won't stay on well. Also, if you have particularly spotty skin or suffer with acne you might want to use a concealer to cover your spots underneath the wake me up foundation.

I rate this product 4/5

Rimmel The Max Volume Flash Waterproof Mascara review

Price- £6.69
I wanted to try a mascara from Rimmel because I love my Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer, so I just got this one because the bright packaging caught my eye! Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations- I was expecting my lashes to have more volume and look longer but it was quite average. As far as waterproof mascaras go, it was good enough but it was hard to get a substantial amount of product off the wand when applying it. If you try to apply another coat, it can get clumpy. I found the mascara to be a bit wet which is something I'm not used to as usually my mascara tends to dry quite quickly.
I don't think I'll bother with this again.
Rating- 2.5/5
